Art for Hope 2018
Save the Date
“Early childhood development is one of the most cost-effective investments a country can make to build human capital and promote sustainable development.” -UNICEF
For real change to take root in Kenya, we must emphasize the early development of its most vulnerable citizens. Our MTOTO (Mother-Toddler-One-To-One) programs will link pregnant mothers and those with children ages 0-3 to a trained nurse and social worker, providing valuable counsel and resources in the areas of prenatal care, infant nutrition, normal developmental stages, healthy parenting techniques, and the importance of a language-rich home environment. Thriving toddlers will then join LEAP Academy, our dynamic preschool, by age 4. During these formative 0-5 years, our HELP (Home Early Literacy Program) will bring literacy training and age-appropriate books to community parents and children.
Please join us for an evening of art, music, food and wine benefiting these Early Childhood Development Programs at Naomi’s Village.
