Florence Koros has been the Director of Administration at Cornerstone since March 2022. She is a seasoned communications and social development practitioner with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit organizations and the private sector, where she has held senior management roles. Florence has a bachelor’s degree in communication and community development. She has a passion for inspiring people to harness their unique potential for societal transformation.

Justin, an accomplished finance professional, joined Naomi’s Village/Cornerstone as our Finance Manager in February 2022. He has over 15 years of extensive experience in finance, audit, risk management and leadership gained from working across diverse sectors including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), manufacturing, service, agricultural, motor and retail chain.
He is a fully qualified Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya. He also holds an MBA in Finance and a Diploma from the Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS-UK). IMIS-UK has also officially licensed Justin.

Florence is a Certified Public Accountant working towards enlistment as a member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya. She is also currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration (finance option) at Kabarak University. Florence is proficient in accounting in multiple contexts and environments, having had over nine years of prior accounting experience in the manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

Since joining our staff, she has dedicated herself to providing exemplary work in support of the overall vision and mission of Cornerstone Preparatory Academy.

Zipporah Wataro serves as head teacher at Cornerstone Preparatory Academy. She is one of CPA’s pioneers, having been a faithful teacher at Cornerstone since its inception in 2013. Zipporah has long been one of Cornerstone’s most passionate and skillful teachers. Besides having a big heart for children, Zipporah is also very qualified and has attended numerous additional trainings in areas such as assertive discipline, play therapy, trauma-competent care and the new Kenyan Competency Based Curriculum.

Zipporah is a children’s ministry leader at her church. Her hobbies are singing, writing songs, swimming and reading novels.

Kelvin is a qualified photographer and videographer with over 6 years experience as a freelancer. He is very passionate, especially about producing content for our ministry. In college Kelvin pursued media arts at Shang Tao Media Arts College in Nairobi, where he graduated in 2015. He joined Naomi’s Village/Cornerstone in October 2021 and has since made wonderful connections with our children.
