Give the Gift of Belonging
This Christmas season, Naomi’s Village invites you to give the gift of hope and transformation. In a world where many children face poverty, hunger, and lack of education, your generosity can create lasting change. Each gift in this catalog supports the life-changing work we do for vulnerable children and families in Kenya, from providing education and healthcare to ensuring safe homes and nurturing environments.
As you browse through this catalog, we encourage you to reflect on the true spirit of the season—a time to spread love, joy, and compassion. Your support not only makes a difference today but helps build a brighter future for those who need it most. Together, we can empower the next generation to rise above their circumstances and flourish.

27-High School Classroom Block for Cornerstone Prep Academy
Total Need: $1,000,000
One of our ongoing initiatives is constructing a 27-classroom block to be utilized for high school education at Cornerstone Preparatory Academy. This building will be able to handle the growth we are expecting over the next few years. These buildings are vital for Cornerstone Preparatory Academy to provide transformative education to a growing number of students joining us in the coming years, eventually reaching full enrollment of nearly 1,000 students.
Cornerstone Endowment Trust
Cornerstone Endowment Trust
Total Need: $300,000
When high schoolers from Naomi’s Village and the surrounding community graduate from Cornerstone Preparatory Academy, we want to continue giving them an opportunity to go on to post-secondary education and to transform their futures.
The Endowment allows us to provide all that is needed while receiving higher education and as they are embarking on their careers. When the norm is to move out of their home at age 18 and fend for themselves, we are ensuring our children can overcome the cycle of severe poverty and become change agents in their country.
Over the next few years, many students will be graduating and moving on to trade schools and universities.
Early Childhood Development Center
Early Childhood Development Center
Total Need: $350,000
In late April 2024, Naomi’s Village experienced a series of catastrophic natural disasters that severely impacted LEAP Preschool, our early childhood development program. Our leadership team determined it is in our best interest to relocate this program from its previous site on the campus of Naomi’s Village to the Cornerstone property, preventing further issues associated with potential mudslides and severe flooding during heavy rainy seasons. Due to these conditions, we will be building an Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) in 2025 to re-establish LEAP Preschool in its new location.
Long-Term Missionary Apartments
Long-Term Missionary Apartments
Total Need: $400,000
In the last year, we have witnessed the Lord moving in the hearts of several individuals and families to join us as field workers at Naomi’s Village. Over the next few years, many will move to Kenya, making long-term commitments to serve our ministry. Due to this increase, we will be building an apartment building on the Cornerstone property with capacity to accommodate those responding to God’s calling to serve in Kenya.

Each child is provided a loving home, a caregiver to nurture and support them, clothing, food, medical care, discipleship, education, and more. We have been called to provide all that is necessary, from infancy to adulthood, for the children being raised in our home. Join us by fully sponsoring a child at Naomi’s Village Home.

Cornerstone Preparatory Academy’s teachers work hard every day to educate our students. Additionally, they must pay attention and dismiss students on time for their next class. Total Need: $6,500 annual salary
Our MTOTO Early Childhood Program empowers first-time mothers with the knowledge and resources to raise healthy babies and toddlers, who will then be welcomed into LEAP Preschool at age 3. We do this through in-home training and a 12-week community Parenting Course. This initiative of Naomi's Village is a wonderful opportunity to invest in real change beginning at the earliest stage of life in Kenya. As the program continues growing each year, we need another nurse to best serve these mothers and babies.

Water Filter Systems for 50 New LEAP Preschoolers’ Families
Water Filter Systems for 50 New LEAP Preschoolers’ Families

The same is necessary for our new LEAP Preschool students. Providing a simple and cost-effective water fltration system for each family reduces the risk of those diseases.

Dave Ramsey – Financial Foundations Curriculum
Dave Ramsey – Financial Foundations Curriculum
Total Need: $200
As our high school students are preparing for university and life after graduation, we are implementing several independent living classes, including the fundamentals of finances. Understanding how to spend and save money is an important way to help students rise above chronic poverty in Kenya. The Dave Ramsey Financial Foundations Curriculum helps high school students understand biblical financial principles, and how to responsibly manage their resources.
Founded in 2011 by Bob and Julie Mendonsa, Naomi’s Village is a dream God crafted from the ground up. We are a community in rural Kenya that inspires greatness in our children by instilling the value of excellence in all things, starting at the very beginning in our home.
We believe that love changes everything.
And together, we are guided by love and humility as our village raises a generation of leaders that will aid in ending the orphan and education crises in Kenya.
Meet the Founders
Bob and Julie Mendonsa moved to Kenya in 2008 and broke ground on Naomi’s Village Home in 2009. They work together full-time at Naomi’s Village in daily administration, the holistic care of children, team member training, and directing fundraising efforts. Bob and Julie plan to live in Kenya indefinitely to help raise Naomi’s Village’s children as future leaders of their nation.
