Damaris is an energetic girl. Dancing, jumping rope, dodgeball, and soccer all fill her with joy. Damaris dreams of becoming a musician. Damaris lives with her stepfather and mother, who are both manual laborers. Her younger brother Joseph Kamonde also attends LEAP Preschool, and her older brother Paul attends Cornerstone.
Nancy’s favorite activities are singing, dancing, and playing hide-and-seek. At playtime, you’ll find her serving up pretend food from the play kitchen at LEAP Preschool. Her favorite animals are cats and dogs. Nancy’s dad drives a bus and her mom operates a roadside vegetable stand. Nancy is the third of four children.
Teresiah is energetic and outgoing, and loves being in the spotlight, either singing or dancing. Her favorite animals are cats and dogs. Teresiah’s single mother provides for her four children and one grandchild by farming. At home, Teresiah helps with the cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
According to his teacher, James is a good-natured child who gets along easily with other children. He loves playing soccer and building toy cars out of discarded scraps of metal and wire. James’s dad is a manual laborer, and his mom is a housewife. James is the fourth of five children.
Samuel likes playing soccer and helping at home by washing dishes. He thinks he might want to be a truck driver someday. His favorite subject is math, and his favorite animal is a horse.

Tekla lost her mother to tragic circumstances just before Christmas 2016, becoming a total orphan at just 19 months of age. She came to Naomi’s Village with her twin 4-year-old sisters, tiny and afraid at first. Tekla has since grown in size and courage gradually, and is now the newest toddler princess to grace our halls. She quickly figured out where the candy box was in Uncle Bob’s office and she often proudly marches in on her own to visit and get a “sweet”.Sponsor
