Joe and Leah Wilson are natives of Texas. They met while attending the University of North Texas and settled in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In 2024, with their three children—Rhett, Clara, and Walter—they visited Naomi’s Village and fell in love with the local children and what God is doing through Naomi’s Village and Cornerstone Preparatory Academy. God put it on their hearts to serve long-term, and in July 2025 they moved to Kenya to join Naomi’s Village.
Joe brings a background in data analytics, having spent 13 years driving transformation of data strategy across a Fortune 500 organization, empowering business decision-making through data and analytics. Joe holds two master’s degrees in business administration and information systems. Leah’s heart has always been for children and youth and has worked as a preschool teacher and homemaker. They are honored to join the story being written at Naomi’s Village and excited to invest deeply in this community.
