Megan is originally from Dixon, Illinois, and has 17 years of experience working with organizations like ACTION Zambia and Arise Africa, where she worked in Zambia as Country Director. Her portfolio includes orphan care, child sponsorship, curriculum development, organizational infrastructure building, construction, and organizational leadership.

Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Voice Performance from Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, a Master’s in Organizational Leadership, and a Certificate in Professional Executive Coaching and Consultation from the Townsend Institute of Concordia University. 

Megan’s affinity for missions ignited in her youth, serving with Teen Missions International in Gibraltar and Zimbabwe, and World Gospel Outreach in Honduras. Her passion and dedication for nurturing and enhancing the abilities of budding leaders in Africa led Megan to her role with Naomi’s Village.

In her free time, Megan enjoys lengthy walks with her husband, Mark, and their dogs, Mukwa and Malasha.
